Who we are

We want to celebrate the strengths and resilience of all people by providing counseling services that honor cultural identity, promote healing from within, and foster connection and belonging.

We envision strong and connected communities where every individual feels valued, respected, and supported in their journey towards healing and mental well-being.

Who is Tiara

Professional portrait of a smiling Black woman with braided hair, wearing a navy blazer and white blouse against a light gray background.

I am a wife, mother, lover of RomCom/Thriller movies, and confidant to those in need. I started receiving counseling after my parents’ divorce; the difficulty of establishing a new “normal” caused an immense amount of fear. I’ve dealt with self-esteem issues regarding weight and complexion, as well as identity crisis issues stemming from motherhood; I’ve gained friends and grieved past friendships. Through consistency and dedication, I was able to work through my triggers and truly do the work within myself. I am here to inform you that it is possible to see the rainbow after the storm, and doing the “work” within yourself is a continuous effort filled with highs, lows, and much self-correction. Let’s take this journey together!

I am a former Behavioral Therapist and Certified Special Education Teacher who specialized in children on the Autism Spectrum. I greet each new day believing there’s no “one size fits all” regarding therapy. I meet my clients where they are, fostering community, and I know that being a true collaborative partner throughout the therapeutic alliance is the main priority.
